Luna Wang Designs is a New York based interior design firm with a focus on modern and timeless interiors that provide intelligent solutions to their occupants with a sense of ease and comfort.

Luna Wang was born in Shanghai, where it deeply cultivated her sense of oriental philosophy on the relationship of man with nature. She strives to achieve harmony in every dimension of her work. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria, British Columbia in Canada, and a MFA degree in Interior Architecture and Design from Parsons the New School for Design, New York City.

With over a decade professional experiences at prestigious architectural and design firms such as TsAO & McKOWN Architects, Ali Tayar Architecture, Pembrooke and Ives, Luna expresses her unique voice in the design industry by marrying both architecture and interior design by delicately and thoughtfully balancing juxtaposing qualities such as edgy and classic, austere and playful, pure and complex, modern and timeless.

Luna Wang is also a passionate ceramic artist that works out of the Greenwhich House Pottery in the West Village when she continuously explores the material potential of porcelain as decorative arts. Her handmade work is an essential component of her thought process, that she believes design is essentially a problem solving act in everyday life, and good design is soul food.
